Job description

Job Summary 
We are seeking an experienced CNC Screw Machine Operator to join a precision manufacturing team. This role is responsible for performing complete machine setups, editing CNC programs, and operating CNC lathe and screw machines to produce high-quality parts that meet tight tolerances and production standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Swiss-style equipment, specifically the Tsugami BO326-III, and a solid understanding of CNC programming and troubleshooting. 

Pay: $26–$30/hour (based on experience) 
Schedule: 4/10s (Four 10-hour shifts) Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week 

What You’ll Be Doing 
Operate CNC screw machines and CNC lathes from start to first article approval 
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings 
Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments 
Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs as needed to maintain quality and efficiency 
  Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain tight tolerances 
Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are running optimally 
Maintain accurate production documentation 
Follow all safety and quality standards 

Qualifications 
Minimum of 3 years of CNC Lathe operating experience required if no prior setup experience 
Strong knowledge of CNC lathe machines and Swiss-style screw machines 
Experience with Tsugami BO326-III preferred 
Familiarity with CNC programming and program editing 
Ability to perform complete initial machine setup independently (preferred) 
Ability to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances 
Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and materials 
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Skills 
CNC operation 
Swiss-style machining knowledge 
Blueprint reading and GD&T understanding 
Precision measurement (micrometers, calipers, indicators) 
Program editing and troubleshooting 
Strong mechanical aptitude
