What you will do:

The Media Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring media production equipment in a continuous 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, maintaining stable machine operation, and supporting startup, troubleshooting, and process improvements. Operators will work closely with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams and will receive specialized training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor media production equipment to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operation
  • Perform startup, shutdown, and changeover activities for production lines
  • Monitor product quality and work closely with quality personnel to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating when needed
  • Support new product introductions and process adjustments
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks and assist maintenance teams during repairs
  • Conduct initial quality checks and inspections during production
  • Handle materials, labeling, packaging, and internal logistics as required
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn complex equipment and processes
  • Willingness and ability to work a 24/7 rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Willingness to travel internationally for extended training (up to 3 months)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and process monitoring
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Forklift experience preferred
