An International company with a facility near Farmington, MI is currently seeking an Applications and Process Engineer for direct hire opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for experienced Electrical Controls Engineers looking for a company that offers excellent management, career growth, development, and competitive rates.

Senior Electrical Controls Field Service Engineer will be working a full-time day shift with occasional work on weekends and nights, with pay anticipated to be between $85,000 - $100,000 based on each candidateโ€™s experience and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We offer excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, vacation/PTO, bonuses, and more.

Qualified Applications and Process Engineers will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience with abrasive metal removal processes in manufacturing settings

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Understanding of grinding metal removal processes

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience selecting appropriate abrasive types for different manufacturing applications

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience using 2D CAD software

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience using 3D modeling software for parts and assemblies

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Excellent understanding of dimensional tolerancing and geometric tolerancing

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Excellent competency with Microsoft Office software programs including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Excellent organization skills

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Excellent communication skills

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  3 years of experience in a manufacturing sector or performing similar job functions as described in the job responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience setting up and operating manual and NC/CNC controlled grinding machinery

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience performing tool touch off and tool change over of metal removal or grinding machinery

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  5 years of experience providing direct support for high precision grinding, microfinishing, or superfinishing processes

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Proficient in the use of 3D modeling software for parts, assemblies, and drawings

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Associates of Science Degree

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Related Field of Study
