NOW HIRING: Lead Master, Journeyman & Industrial Electricians

NorthPoint Electric is growing and we’re looking for experienced Lead Master Electricians, Journeyman Electricians, and Industrial Electricians who take pride in quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism.

Our team performs electrical work in commercial facilities, petroleum fueling systems, industrial processing plants, manufacturing facilities, and other industrialenvironments. What You’ll Do

As a member of the NorthPoint Electrical team, you will:

· Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams, and specifications.

· Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in industrial processing plants, manufacturing facilities, petroleum fueling facilities, and commercial buildings.

· Install conduit (EMT, RMC, IMC, PVC, and rigid), cable tray, pull wire, terminate equipment, and perform final electrical connections.

· Install, maintain, and service:

o Industrial control panels

o Motors and motor controls

o Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)

o PLC-controlled equipment

o Process instrumentation

o Petroleum dispensers and fuel pumps

o Tank monitoring systems

o Point-of-Sale (POS) systems

o Lighting systems

o Switchgear, panels, transformers, and circuit breakers

· Diagnose electrical issues using:

o Volt meters

o Ohm meters

o Amp probes

o Meggers

o Thermal imaging cameras

o Cable testers

· Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and production systems to maximize uptime.

· Troubleshoot equipment failures to minimize downtime in industrial processing and manufacturing operations.

· Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, local codes, project specifications, and manufacturer requirements.

· Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, operators, and fellow electricians.

· Assist estimators with material take-offs, labor estimates, and project planning when needed.

We’re Looking For

Journeyman Electricians

· High School Diploma or GED

· Minimum one year of Journeyman Electrician experience preferred

· Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

· Commercial and industrial electrical experience preferred

· Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· Strong attention to detail

Industrial Electricians

· Minimum five years of industrial electrical experience

· Experience in industrial processing plants, manufacturing facilities, refineries, food processing, chemical processing, or petroleum facilities is highly preferred

· Experience troubleshooting motors, MCCs, PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and process controls

· Strong preventative maintenance experience

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team

· Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

· Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or emergency service when required

Physical Requirements

· Lift up to 75–100 pounds

· Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

· Work safely around energized equipment and industrial processes

· Work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining quality and safety

· Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment

· Follow all company safety policies and procedures
