Job description

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time commercial Electrical Foreman in Suffolk, Virginia.
Job Summary
  • Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
  • Confirms completion & documentation of project Daily/Weekly/Monthly safety activities reporting.
  • Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Interprets company policies to workers enforcing safety regulations, and proper care for tools and equipment.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems.
  • Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
  • Travel may be required.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 6-10 years recent commercial electrician experience or related experience.
  • State Electrical License strongly preferred.
  • OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
