Brief Description The Electrical Manager serves as the technical authority responsible for ensuring safe and reliable design, installation, and maintenance of all electrical assets. The Electrical Manager is responsible for managing the procurement of electrical maintenance and construction services, preparing and managing budgets. They also provide engineering technical guidance on capital and operations projects throughout the planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up phases. Detailed Description

Job Requirements
Education
Required
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited engineering program
Desired
• Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited engineering program
Experience
Required
• Minimum of five years of technical and field experience in the design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low and medium voltage power distribution systems
• Minimum of five years relevant experience managing and leading teams, planning and implementing projects, budgeting, scheduling and procuring goods/services
• Strong working knowledge of computers, industrial controls networking and Microsoft products
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes and standards (e.g. NFPA 70, etc.) for commercial and industrial facilities
Desired
• Experience within the wastewater treatment industry, gaining knowledge of how the process of treating wastewater takes place and the structure of the plants and pumping stations
Licenses and Certifications
Required
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid Professional Engineer (PE) from the Commonwealth of Virginia (or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 12 months of hire).
