Generations In Dentistry was established in 1908 and for over a century we have been delivering quality, family-oriented dentistry to individuals of all ages. We are a two-doctor, privately-owned family practice located in Carmel, Indiana. As a team, we take pride in providing our patients with a comfortable office experience and ensuring that they are well-informed throughout their visit.

We are seeking a skilled and caring Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our office is open 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-3pm on Fridays. We are looking for someone to work between 4-5 of those days, and hours can be flexible to accommodate personal priorities. Desired days and hours will be discussed further during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride treatments, and diagnostic x-rays
  • Conduct periodontal assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Communicate compassionately with patients of various backgrounds and dental history
  • Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and additional preventative care
  • Document accurate patient records and treatment plans
  • Follow OSHA guidelines and safety procedures, and actively sterilize and maintain dental equipment

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Degree in dental hygiene from an accredited university
  • Active Indiana dental hygiene license
  • CPR and BLS certification
  • Local anesthesia license is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and teammates
  • Proficiency in utilizing dental software, Eaglesoft experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
