Job description

The Dishwasher position is an essential hands-on role in our Food & Beverage department. This Dishwasher is responsible for general warewashing, utility tasks, and limited food preparation as instructed by the Back of House leadership. Collaboration with team members and management is key to ensuring the efficient operation of various food and beverage services. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively maintain employee safety, addressing potential risks to staff and guest well-being
  • Maintain a Food Safe environment within our venues through active participation
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all dishes, smallware, and cookware, ensuring their proper return and organization
  • Support the team in preparing for and carrying out all cleaning, maintenance, and organizational duties
  • Participate in the correct receiving and storage of food deliveries as requested 
  • Assist the Back of House team with basic food preparation tasks
  • Perform all other duties as requested
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Capacity to work efficiently under pressure in a constantly evolving setting
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Maintains a positive, respectful, and courteous attitude towards all team members

OTHER DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience in high volume food and beverage establishment 
  • Multilingual
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Able to work 8 hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs
  • Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work effectively in hot, humid, and damp conditions
  • Must be able to learn and remember critical information regarding potential hazards of cleaning chemicals
  • Must be able to learn, retain, and consistently apply proper food safety procedures
