Job description

CCMS & Associates is seeking a homeowners liability desk adjuster (Florida-licensed) with at least 5 years experience.ย This position is ready to be filled immediately.ย Now is the time to join our team!ย ย 
Requirements:

  • Minimum 5ย years homeowners liabilityย adjusting experience
  • Working computer/laptop -ย internet access and Microsoft Word required
  • Strong time management and customer service skills
  • Currentlyย active Florida adjusters license *must be self-appointed*
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth investigations into liability claims to gather facts regarding the loss
  • Investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses, andย by interviewing fire, police, or other governmentย officials
  • Maintain compliance on each claim in an active caseload
  • Review applicable coverage forms and endorsements, and provide a thorough analysis of issues in well-documented reports to client
  • Maintain acceptable product quality through compliance with established best practices
Knowledge and Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of liability insurance coverage and industry standards
  • Ability to prepare full-captioned reports by collecting and summarizing required information
  • Strong verbal and written communicationย skills
  • Prompt, reliable, and friendly
  • Detail-oriented individual to accurately gather and analyze information to avoid errors
