- Apply data science techniques - regression, NLP, clustering, neural networks, deep learning, image recognition - to geospatial problems
- Develop and employ algorithms supporting GEOINT mission outcomes
- Build tabular, SQL, and scripted analytic workflows (Python, R, Julia) to surface unique insights
- Integrate geographic and geospatial scientific principles into model design and analysis
- Deliver new analytic capability using agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
- Produce written reports, graphics, and briefings for technical and senior audiences
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
Education + Experience (one of the following):
- MA/MS from an accredited institution in a STEM-related discipline + 5 years relevant experience, OR
- BA/BS in a STEM-related discipline + 10 years relevant experience
Technical Skills
- Demonstrated mastery of geographic and geospatial scientific principles, tools, and analytical techniques across most prior experience
- Proficiency in data science techniques: logistic regression, vector analysis, NLP, PCA, clustering, neural networks, deep learning, image recognition, and algorithm development
- Proficiency in tabular analysis, SQL, and scripting languages (Python, R, Julia, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with agile project management frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
Collaboration
- Ability to deliver new analytic capability in iterative, team-based environments
- Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with IT, business, or operational metrics platforms (Splunk, Elastic, Confluence)
