Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will analyze large amounts of raw data to discover patterns and insights that will help to improve our company. We will rely on you to collect and analyze data, build models, and present your findings in an easy-to-understand manner. The ideal candidate has an analytical mind and a passion for data.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze large amounts of raw data to discover trends and patterns
  • Discover valuable business insights and propose new approaches to challenges
  • Automate the data collection process
  • Identify valuable data sources
  • Present information in an easily digestible format
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization
  • Plans, conducts, and supervises subtasks on a project-by-project basis, working to meet completion dates.
  • May provide direct assistance, review progress, and evaluate results of junior staff and make changes in methods or project design where necessary.
  • These individuals make independent technical decisions, seeking advice from management as needed.
  • Possesses knowledge, skills, and abilities to conduct their primary assigned tasks such as evaluating analytical instrument (e.g., GC, GC/MS, GC/HRMS, HPLC, ICP/AES, ICP/MS) outputs, reviews and verifies environmental laboratory data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
