Med Emporium is currently seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist for our Greenville, NC area. We are dedicated to supporting the care of patients with chronic respiratory illness.

What you'll do:

The potential candidate must be proficient in all aspects of respiratory therapy including mechanical ventilation. Duties will include routine visits to patient homes to perform equipment checks and patient assessments. May also require coordination with Physicians, Discharge Planners, and Case Managers for patient care. Collaboration with Customer Service and Delivery Staff will also be required to ensure patients have the medical supplies and equipment they need.

Requirements:

* Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care in North Carolina. If not licensed currently, must apply for a license upon hire at Med Emporium.

* Licensed through the State as a Respiratory Therapist

* Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program

* Knowledge of modern principles, methods, materials, and equipment

* Knowledge of possible hazards to patients and appropriate precautions

* Ability to work independently

* Ability to manage records, complete necessary electronic documentation, and perform patient assessments

* 1-2 years’ hospital experience required

* Ability to perform data entry into the company software utilizing an iPad

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is a plus

* Strong time management skills

Additional Details:

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Starting at $70,000. Negotiable and commensurate with experience.

Schedule:

40 hours per week

Monday to Friday with availability for on-call rotation (nights and weekends)
