Job description

Job Title: Back-End Estimator (Collision Repair)
Location: Port Orchard
Pay: $28–$32 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Flexible schedule, options for a 4x10 schedule or a M-F 8am-5pm: NO WEEKENDS

This role is essential to ensuring accurate repair estimates, efficient workflow, and clear communication with insurance partners and customers. What You’ll Do

  • Perform detailed vehicle inspections during the disassemble-for-repair (DFR) process alongside technicians
  • Create accurate and comprehensive repair estimates and supplements using CCC
  • Develop and manage complete repair plans
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters and occasionally customers regarding repair progress and expectations
  • Ensure technicians follow proper repair procedures and access necessary documentation
  • Maintain accurate notes and documentation in CCC
  • Keep all repair orders current and aligned with vehicle progress
  • Source and document all parts required for repairs
  • Assign and allocate labor to technicians
  • Ensure compliance with insurance guidelines and DRP requirements
  • Participate in daily production and release meetings
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment


What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience as a collision estimator or insurance appraiser
  • Experience with damage analysis including hybrid systems, electrical components, and structural damage
  • Proficiency with CCC or similar collision management systems
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • I-CAR or similar industry training preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record


Work Environment

  • Exposure to paint fumes, dust, chemicals, and shop noise
  • Work conditions may vary with temperature and workload
