Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, customer focused Home Damage Repair Specialist to join our team. The Home Damage Repair Specialist is responsible for managing reports of home damage and ensuring timely and effective repairs. This role involves working closely with internal teams, external contractors, and customers to address issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a customer-first mindset are key to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Damage Reporting and Coordination
  • Handle intake of home damage reports, including common issues like roof leaks and drywall repairs.
  • Assess damage reports and identify appropriate repair solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal technicians or contractors to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
  • Document all damage reports, assessments, and resolutions accurately in company systems.
  • Ensure repairs and resolutions align with company policies, warranties, and contractual obligations.

Customer Communication and Updates
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates on repair progress.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve escalations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases appropriately while maintaining customer confidence.

Repair Oversight and Satisfaction Assurance
  • Monitor the progress of repairs to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Follow up with customers post-repair to confirm satisfaction and address any lingering concerns.
  • Identify patterns or recurring damage issues and provide feedback to leadership to prevent future occurrences.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in the home improvement or solar or renewable energy industry is preferred but not required
  • Strong problem solving abilities. and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with customer service and occasional complaint resolution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • At this time, no remote work is offered. Work must be done in the office.
