Pay Rate: $11.41 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Attend and successfully complete the 4 weeks Table Games Dealer Training Program
  • Learn, practice, and demonstrate proficiency in dealing assigned table games in accordance with established policies, procedures, and game rules
  • Develop and apply mathematical skills necessary to accurately calculate wagers, payouts, and game outcomes
  • Provide exceptional guest service and quality entertainment during training sessions and practical exercises
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of table games and protecting table inventory under the guidance of trainers and supervisors
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to all Treasure Island Resort & Casino policies and procedures, rules, and regulations throughout the training program
  • Demonstrate consistent attendance, punctuality, and engagement during all phases of training
  • Work effectively with instructors, classmates, supervisors, and management to achieve training objectives
  • Attend and participate in provided training/orientation

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification
Required:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Ability to successfully complete all required Table Games Dealer Training Program coursework, written examinations, practical auditions, and performance evaluations

Preferred:
  • Previous exposure to table games
  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in the gaming, hospitality or entertainment industry

  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions

  • Must have the ability to deal at least 350 hands per hour

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
  • Work is performed primarily on the gaming floor, which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
