Location: The Nash Casino - 310 Daniel Webster Highway - Nashua, NH
Start: Craps School will start on September 1, 2026, and will run for 15 weeks
Hours: Training Class will be 3 days per week- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - Night session: 6:15pm - 10 pmApplicants must be able to attend every class arrive on time and stay through the duration
Class Summary
The Craps Dealer Trainee position provides an opportunity for individuals to learn the necessary skills and techniques required to become a Craps Dealer. As part of the paid training program, the Craps Dealer Trainee will learn how to deal craps, craps game rules, betting procedures, and payout calculations. This is a temporary position that combines classroom instruction with hands-on, on-the-job training under the supervision of experienced trainers. Individuals who successfully complete the training course, including both the written and practical examinations, may be offered Part-time or Full-time employment upon completion. Training is paid $15.00/hour.
*Daily skill evaluations will be conducted, and participants must meet established daily performance benchmarks to remain in temporary employment status*
What You'll Be Doing

• Must be able to attend all classes- missing more than two will result in elimination form class.
• Participate in a comprehensive training program to learn the rules, regulations, and procedures for Craps.
• Understand and memorize the payout systems, betting options, and other critical game aspects.
• Learn to manage the pace of the game while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Practice dealing craps under the supervision of experienced trainers.
• Work through live simulations and scenarios to build confidence and competency.
• Receive constructive feedback to improve skills, accuracy, and speed.
• Learn how to engage with players in a friendly, professional manner.
• Learn how to communicate clearly with customers regarding craps game rules, betting procedures, and payout calculations accurately.
• Handle player disputes or complaints calmly and professionally, with guidance from supervisors as needed.
• Maintain a positive gaming atmosphere while ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all guests.
• Adhere to all gaming laws, casino policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with responsible gaming practices and company standards.
• Maintain integrity by following ethical practices during gameplay and dealing.
• Preparation for a permanent dealing position at the Nash Casino
• Once training is complete, demonstrate readiness to handle a live gaming table on your own via an audition.
• You must pass the written and practical final in order to be offered a permanent position.

Education and Minimum Requirements

• Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks for employment.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.
• Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy to attend the training class. The class schedule must also not interfere with their regular scheduled shift.

Physical/Mental Working Demands

• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to move in and around the work area throughout the entire workday.
• Must be able to engage and interact with all guests appropriately and work well under the pressure of a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to successfully communicate on a regular basis with all co-workers, vendors, and guests both in person and over the telephone.
• Must be able to answer all inquiries and provide assistance and information in a professional and accurate manner.
• Must be able to access and interpret information on computer screens.
• Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted, and it can be loud with guest chatter, overhead music, and live entertainment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and respond to visual and aural cues.
• Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye hand coordination.
