Job description

Job Description
Must be a trained and experienced craps and/or routlette dealer
This position typically starts at $7.50 per hour (plus tips) and works a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Responsible for facilitating engaging and professional casino gaming experiences for guests by accurately dealing assigned games, ensuring exceptional Family Style Service, and contributing to departmental revenue goals
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in full, clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a heads-up, ready-to-serve mentality. This includes keeping personal phone use to non-guest-facing areas unless there is a legitimate business need to do so.
  • Greets all guests and fellow team members warmly and professionally, in line with our Family Style Service culture.
  • Responsible for dealing casino games as assigned in order to provide a courteous and entertaining experience for Harrah's guests and generate revenue for the department.
  • Provide game instructions to guest when requested or as assigned in order to encourage game activity.
  • Sponsors new dealers as needed in order to provide new hires with adequate on the job training.
  • Provide game protection by keeping visual contact of all guests and game layout.
  • Initiate courteous and friendly conversation with guests.
  • Stay informed on property and departmental promotions and events.
  • Professional attitude, always setting the example.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
  • Successful completion of certified Dealer School.
  • Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Able to communicate clearly and tactfully.
  • Must be able to count currency
  • Must be able to deal all games certified
  • Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
