Job Summary

We are seeking a full time Diet Technician to join our dining services team in a campus dining setting in Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implements Bon Appetit food philosophy and wellness programs under the supervision of the Registered Dietitian
  • Supports the account in meeting nutrition related regulatory requirements, including federal labeling laws and local and state requirements
  • Leads the food allergy program to include staff training and corrective action reporting
  • Participates in menu and recipe development and nutrient analysis
  • Serves as supporting nutrition resource for the account, including maintaining and growing relationships with the internal team
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date knowledge of nutrition topics related to food service, culinary and nutrition trends, wellness technology, and college student health and wellness
  • Provides nutrition and wellness education and training for associates, clients, and customers

Qualifications:

  • Credentialed as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or relevant field
  • Prior food service experience preferred
  • ServeSafe certification preferred
  • Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications and nutrient analysis programming
