This is a hands-on, on-site role within the content center. • Ensure daily content generation goals are met
  • Stream breaking news, big coverage events, and newscasts
  • Exercise strong editorial judgment during high-volume news events
  • Collaborate with newsroom teams to integrate digital storytelling into broadcast workflows and strengthen cross-platform coordination
  • Use analytics tools (Chartbeat, Tableau) to guide content decisions and optimize performance
  • Apply SEO best practices to headlines, alerts, and story structure while meeting daily content production goals
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to manage breaking news in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
  • Strong writer
  • Solid editorial judgment with a deep understanding of digital audiences and content performance
  • Expertise in SEO, streaming, analytics tools, CMS workflows, and social media publishing platforms
  • Understanding of AP Style, media law, and ethical journalism standards
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as news demands; this is an on-site essential role
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a digital news environment, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
