The Role

As a Contents Technician, you are the frontline of our restoration process. You will work on-site at residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, or mold. You aren’t just a mover—you are a content specialist responsible for the careful handling of a client's personal possessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Precision Packing: Wrap, inventory, and label contents with extreme care to prevent damage.
• Furniture Care: Use hand and power tools to safely disassemble furniture for transport and reassemble it during the "packback" phase.
• Logistics: Assist in the strategic loading/unloading of box trucks to ensure safe transit and efficient storage.
• Documentation: Report job metrics including labor hours, inventory counts, and any pre-existing damages using digital inventory tools.
• Professionalism: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and provide empathetic, professional service to homeowners.
• Content Cleaning (Cat 3 water sanitization and fire cleaning) Experienceis a hiring Plus!

What You Bring to Thrive with the Team

• Mentally Detailed Readiness: You notice the small things and follow instructions to the letter. Learn systems and processes quickly. Notice problems before they become bigger issues
• Physical Readiness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environments (smoke/water-damaged sites). Stay calm in fast-moving environments
• Reliability: A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and dependable attendance to jobsites across the DFW Metroplex. Communicate clearly with teammates and homeowners
• Tools of the Trade: Proficiency with basic power tools and hand tools.Take pride in protecting other people’s property.
• Work Ethic: Punctuality is a must. You are comfortable with flexible hours, including early mornings and overtime. Step up without needing constant supervision. Want to grow into leadership roles over time.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person (Base in Carrollton, TX; field work throughout DFW).
• Schedule: Extended hours, overtime, and weekends as required by the project.
• Compliance: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
