Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, site safety, and implementation at several sites.

Project Locations:

  • Fairfield
  • San Leandro
  • Fremont (eventually)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties as expected of a commercial superintendent.
  • Project oversight from pre-construction to Certificate of Occupancy
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Log daily site activities and update schedules
  • Lead weekly meetings with your PM, A&E and client
  • Maintain as-built plans
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications
  • Drive to multiple jobsites to supervise work

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a commercial construction superintendent
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity using Dropbox
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • EXPERT in reading plans
  • Have a range of handy skills
  • Physically active, this is a large job site.

Project

We have several smaller projects (commercial TI's) and one commercial ground-up. Intermittent supervision will be required on all so you must be able to drive around.
