Job description

Brayman Construction Corporation in Saxonburg, PA, the suburb of Pittsburgh, is actively seeking a dependable full-time Project Manager - Design-Build with Alternative Delivery experience to interface with project stakeholders, track projects, and develop staff.
The full-time Project Manager Design-Build position earns a competitive salary and will require a varied schedule based on the project. The position would initially start at our main office in Saxonburg, PA with eventual travel or relocation to a Project site.
SUMMARY OF PROJECT MANAGER DESIGN-BUILD RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversees the staff and assigns ownership of project-specific tasks on assigned projects
  • Ensures the Safety Program is enforced on the respective project and performs safety observations
  • Perform contract management, change orders, prepare subcontracts, schedule projects, and consult with superintendents
  • Ensures the quality of the assigned project is being upheld
  • Reviews productivity of assigned project(s) with field supervision

PROJECT MANAGER DESIGN-BUILD EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, which may include Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management
  • At least 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction and/or deep foundation construction is required
  • Alternative delivery experience desired, including Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CMGC, or Integrated Design and Construction (IDAC)
  • Experience working with and/or managing designers and the design process a plus.
  • Bridge construction experience is preferred.
  • Experience with various types of heavy civil or foundation work including, but not limited to, mass concrete, post-tensioning, dams, drilling, soil nails, caissons, tie backs, shotcrete, slurry walls is preferred.
