Position Overview:

As a Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving the successful completion of construction projects. Your ability to foster teamwork, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a strong client focus will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring all project goals are met in a fast-paced and client-focused environment. Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Provide regular updates and address any concerns or changes promptly.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, trade partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and cooperation. Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and manage project’s schedule in concert with the project superintendent and our trade partners. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on track and within financial constraints.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets industry standards, building codes, and client specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to address any issues proactively.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Address and resolve any challenges that arise during the construction process.
  • Problem Solving: Provide effective solutions to project-related problems and conflicts. Utilize creative thinking and resourcefulness to overcome obstacles and keep projects moving forward.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors. Promote a culture of safety and compliance on all projects.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and compliance records. Provide detailed reports and updates to stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
