Job Description

This role involves physically demanding general labor work on construction projects, including foundations, concrete work, excavating, and trenching. The laborer supports daily site operations by performing tasks such as digging, mixing and pouring concrete, setting forms, and using power tools while maintaining a strong focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Dig trenches and excavations to support foundation and site preparation work.
  • Mix and pour concrete according to project specifications and instructions.
  • Set concrete forms and assist with finishing concrete surfaces as needed.
  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Use chipping guns and other hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform general labor duties related to foundations, concrete, excavating, and trenching.
  • Support demolition and masonry-related tasks as assigned.
  • Arrive on time to the designated meeting location or job site and follow daily work plans.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work cooperatively with supervisors and crew members to complete tasks efficiently.
