Weekends: No routine weekends

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer therapy treatments according to the Physical Therapist's plan of care.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate significant changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide input to the Physical Therapist regarding treatment progression, goal updates, and discharge planning.
  • Educate patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members within the established plan of care.
  • Document treatment progress and patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Use therapy devices and equipment safely and appropriately for patient care.
  • Employ stretching, soft tissue, and manual therapy techniques within PTA scope and clinic standards.
  • Sanitize and clean therapy areas and equipment to support a safe clinical environment.
  • Assist with clerical duties such as typing, filing, forms, letters, memos, reports, answering phones, and directing calls as needed.
