Job description

HR Assistant / Clerical Administrator

MasterMold is seeking a dependable and organized HR Assistant / Clerical Administrator to support weekend HR coverage, assist with general administrative functions, and help train employees on company processes and procedures. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position that receives company benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, and access to health insurance plan options.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, comfortable working with employees, and able to manage clerical tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The HR Assistant / Clerical Administrator will provide front-line support to employees and supervisors, assist with documentation and data entry, help maintain employee records, support communication between Human Resources and production teams, and assist with training employees on established processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR and clerical support during weekend shift coverage.
  • Assist employees with general HR questions and direct more complex issues to the appropriate HR representative.
  • Support attendance tracking, call-off documentation, and employee communication.
  • Help maintain employee files, records, forms, and other HR documentation.
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork, policy acknowledgments, and employee document collection.
  • Train and support employees on company processes, procedures, forms, and documentation requirements.
  • Help reinforce consistent use of HR, attendance, communication, and administrative procedures.
  • Prepare, organize, scan, copy, and file documents as needed.
  • Support scheduling, meeting preparation, and general administrative tasks.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, supervisors, leads, and managers.
  • Help ensure HR processes are followed consistently and confidential information is handled appropriately.
  • Provide general office support, including data entry, reporting, emails, and document tracking.
  • Assist with other HR, training, or administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Prior clerical, administrative, HR, training, or office support experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain basic processes and procedures clearly to employees.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work the full weekend schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, payroll, staffing, employee records, or employee training.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Experience using ADP or similar HR/payroll systems is helpful but not required.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time weekend day-shift position:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

This position is full-time and benefits eligible, including paid time off, paid holidays, and health insurance plan options.
