Position Overview
The Youth Apprentice will participate in a structured, paid work-based learning experience designed to develop job-specific skills, professional competencies, and career readiness. This role combines supervised on-the-job training with related classroom instruction through the youth apprenticeship program. The Youth Apprentice will support department operations while learning industry-relevant skills in a safe, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with entry-level tasks related to the department's daily operations.
  • Learn and apply job-specific skills under supervision.
  • Follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
  • Demonstrate professional workplace behaviors, including punctuality, teamwork, and communication.
  • Complete assigned projects and tasks accurately and on time.
  • Participate in training, mentoring, and job shadowing opportunities.
  • Maintain records or logs as required by the apprenticeship program.
  • Communicate progress, questions, and challenges with supervisor and mentor.
  • Comply with all youth apprenticeship program requirements.

Requirements:
  • Enrolled in an approved Youth Apprenticeship program.
  • Minimum age as required by program and labor regulations.
  • Interest in gaining hands-on experience in the related career field.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Basic computer and communication skills (as applicable).

This position is based on site at our facilities in Cudahy, Wisconsin. It is a manufacturing company, and the Pricing Analyst will work with a diverse population in both office and production settings.
