Driver - Double Bottom (CDL A)

Work Schedule Days: Monday through Friday. Shift: 1 PM - 9:00 PM. Starting at $25+ per hour (based on experience).

Summary: The Driver - Double Bottom is responsible for transporting finished goods from a Production Center or Distribution Center to other Distribution Centers utilizing double trailers. As with all of our drivers, the Driver - Double Bottom is expected to fulfill the job duties in a professional, compliant, safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport finished goods from the production facility to warehousing facilities utilizing double trailers.
  • Transport finished goods or raw materials between facilities.
  • Load and unload goods using forklift or pallet jacks or connect or disconnect trailers at the destination.
  • Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, as well as verify load and seal numbers.
  • Maintain DOT time log, Bill of Lading, and other paperwork, as required.
  • Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment to company standards.
  • Follow established check-in/ check-out processes for loads that are being hauled.
  • Ensure driving habits are in line with LYTX system targets intended to prevent load shift resulting in damaged product.
  • Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies.
  • Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation.
  • Complete assigned Health & Safety trainings.

Qualifications:

  • High School - GED or Diploma preferred.
  • 3+ years of CDL driving experience.
  • CDL A License required with clean MVR.
