Job description

THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE - MUST LIVE NEAR PITTSBURGH, PA


As an SEO Specialist at Corkboard Concepts, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to increase website traffic and improve organic search rankings. You will identify key opportunities for SEO growth and develop plans to capitalize on them. Your role will involve conducting thorough keyword research, optimizing website content and structure, creating SEO optimized content, and monitoring and analyzing website performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Google Search Console and additional tools to conduct keyword research to identify high-value target keywords
  • Optimize website content and structure for maximum visibility and relevance
  • Develop and implement link-building strategies to improve off-page SEO
  • Create and optimize local directory listings
  • Create SEO optimized website content
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and search engine algorithms
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and SEM Rush
  • Generate regular reports on SEO performance and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO tools and techniques, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEM Rush, and other web analytics tools
  • Comfortable navigating website code and implementing technical SEO elements (meta tags, schema markup, redirects)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • SEO certification (preferred)
