Job description

Seeking BE/BC Podiatrist to join Chicago area mobile podiatry group. New grads welcome! Group was established when our Doctors noticed that many of their elderly patients were unable to keep their appointments due to difficulties arranging transportation, challenges caused by their overall physical state. As a result, our doctors were seeing foot conditions that were escalated to a serious level. By arranging house calls our Doctors are now able to follow up with patients on a regular basis and provide necessary care when needed.

  • Mobile team that covers the entire Greater Chicago area
  • Schedule is done in clusters, with attention paid to where you live
  • General schedule is M-F, 9-5 with no weekends; can be adjusted to your personal preferences
  • Housecall only
  • The practice's patients are all homebound geriatric patients with multiple comorbidities - duties include a lot of palliative care as well as wound care; when needed- injections and small surgical procedures such as already mentioned percutaneous flexor tenotomy as well nail avulsions, matrixectomies, warts excisions; dispensing of braces , night splints, diabetic shoes, etc is also part of the practice.
  • We do percutaneous flexor tenotomy once a while percutaneous flexor tenotomy, but no direct surgical cases are available to doctors. If you want to operate, they can definitely do surgeries as needed in their privileged hospitals.
  • Team of 6 DPMs
  • All instrumentation provided
  • Full day is usually 16-20 patients


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Independent contractor agreement
  • 50/50 split
  • Take home income can range anywhere from $180K-350K depending on ability to produce
