Job description

As a Catering Specialist, you are the "owner" of all things catering within your restaurant. This includes coordinating successful order preparation, set up and delivery, recruiting, hiring, training and scheduling delivery drivers, partnering with

your RM and RCSM to build catering sales from the restaurant level, and

administrating all client contact.


Your Role as a Catering Specialist


Additionally, you should have:

Knowledge of catering menu and rewards

Passion for our food and offerings

A "Customer first" attitude

Be a leader within the restaurant, representing the six elements of success

Proficiency in computer skills



Qualifications

Completion of Team Lead training

Must have a Vehicle.

Must be 18 years or older.

Delivery Driver Agreement signed and on file with Driver's license, and proof of insurance

Full time/day and nighttime availability

Prior experience in a management and/or customer facing role

Adheres to uniform standards


Daily Responsibilities

Beginning of Shift:

Verify computer/email and Monkey Media have been checked and all orders for the

day have been printed.

Review food preparation needs with cook and/or team members and Manager

Double check any pre staged paper products, completing if needed, and setting up

any new orders

Review the day's delivery schedule with Manager on Duty and delivery drivers

(including confirmation with Deliver That if applicable)

Mid Shift:

Assist in preparation and packaging of orders

Validate orders are complete, using a highlighter to double check all items to be

included in order with the prep sheet.

Manage deployment of delivery drivers, and the pickup of any pickup orders

Assist with deliveries as needed, riding along with driver for all orders over 75 guests

End of Shift:

Verify all orders for next day have been printed

Complete Pre-calls/Confirmations for all next day orders

Complete Post-calls/Follow Ups for all previous day orders

Set up pre staged paper products for all next day orders

Review food prep needs with RM and cook for next day orders

Review delivery schedule with RM and drivers for next day orders, calling in additional

drivers and requesting drivers with Deliver That if applicable.


Weekly Responsibilities

Partner with RM in recruiting and hiring delivery drivers as needed. CS to conduct.

initial new driver interview, RM to conduct second interview and make final decision.

Coordinate orientation and training for all new delivery drivers

Minimum 1 ride along per driver on delivery per week, evaluating presentation and

drivers conduct during delivery.

Submitting pre and post call tracker to DM weekly

Minimum 3 chip chats or marketing blitzes per week, submitting business cards to

RCSM and conducting follow up emails and/or calls to new prospects.

Collection of business cards from Fishbowl on Fridays

General communication to restaurant team of all catering initiatives and updates

Resolution of all Catering Customer related VOG and guest concerns
