Location: Long Beach, CA
Pay Range: $33–$37 per hour

Shift: 8am-5pm + OT & weekend dependent on workload 
Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based (with potential for permanent conversion)


About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our fabrication team at a fast-paced Experiential Marketing Agency in Long Beach. In this role, you will support the fabrication of high-quality custom displays for live events, trade shows, auto shows, and branded experiential activations.

If you are a Finish Carpenter, Cabinet Builder, or Display Builder who thrives in an environment defined by craftsmanship, precision, and unique fabrication challenges, we’d love to connect with you.

What You’ll Do

  • Fabricate custom displays, scenic elements, cabinetry, and branded environments
  • Work with a variety of materials including wood, MDF, plastics, composites, laminates, and light metals
  • Interpret and build from drawings, blueprints, renderings, and shop plans
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and fabrication teams to meet client expectations
  • Operate industrial shop equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain high quality standards while meeting demanding deadlines
  • Support onsite installation and dismantle of displays when required.

Qualifications

  • Background in Finish Carpentry, Cabinetry, or Auto Show / Trade Show fabrication
  • Experience operating industrial machinery and shop equipment:
    • Table saws
    • Panel saws
    • Routers
    • Laminating equipment
  • Metal fabrication and welding skills are a plus
  • Strong understanding of measurements, math, and precision layout
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and renders
  • High attention to detail with ability to multitask in deadline-driven environments
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative; able to work independently and as part of a team
  • High energy and able to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed
