Boston Logan International Airport
Location: 1 Harborside Drive, Boston, MA 02128
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
AM Shift: 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM
PM Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
Pay: Starting at $28.00 per hour
Selected candidates must successfully pass a TSA Background Check and meet all airport security requirements.

Sodexo is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Cook to join the culinary team at the British Airways First Class Lounge at Boston Logan International Airport. In this role, you will help deliver an exceptional dining experience for premium international travelers by preparing high-quality cuisine and supporting the daily operations of an upscale lounge kitchen.
As a hands-on leader, you will guide and support the culinary team, uphold food safety and sanitation standards, and collaborate with front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless service and an elevated guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and execute high-quality menu items for both plated and buffet service.
  • Lead by example while supporting the daily operations of the kitchen team.
  • Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and maintained according to first-class standards.
  • Monitor food quality, consistency, portion control, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, receiving deliveries, and proper storage of food and supplies.
  • Partner with front-of-house leadership to support efficient service operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and, when appropriate, guests regarding menu offerings and dietary needs.
  • Adhere to all airport security protocols, TSA regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • 2–3 years of culinary experience in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, premium lounge, or similar hospitality environment.
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring kitchen team members preferred.
  • Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices; ServSafe certification is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety, training, and guest service purposes.
  • Must be able to pass TSA background checks and airport security screening requirements.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a secure airport environment with strict operational standards.
