Job description

Our award-winning Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Wheeling at The Highlands hotel is the ideal fit for value-conscious travelers who do not want to sacrifice comfort. Our Wheeling hotel is located at The Highlands, just off I-70, only 20 minutes from Washington, PA. Our clean and accommodating guest rooms were designed with your comfort in mind, featuring thoughtful amenities to brighten your stay.

Our hotel has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Breakfast Attendant. This is an AM shift position, part time.

To be successful as a Breakfast Attendant, you should liaise with staff in other sections to ensure that customers' needs are met. Ultimately, a top-notch Breakfast Attendant will be able to advise customers on food choices that align withtheir dietary requirements and personal preferences.

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for assembling and disassembling breakfast buffets,and ensuring that the buffet remains well-stocked at all times. In full-service establishments, Breakfast Attendants receive orders from customers, communicate these to the kitchen staff, and clear tables.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety guidelines.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
