Job description

The Heavy Duty Cleaner is responsible for cleaning of all food department back of the house areas and equipment to meet levels of sanitation in accordance with the health department.
Responsibilities:
• Cleaning and breaking down kitchen equipment (stoves, hoods, floors).
• Emptying the trash in all the kitchens replace ice from the salad bars.
• Clean drains, walls, and counters.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma and/or GED preferred 
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or as a dishwasher is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. 
  • Some computer knowledge is a plus. 
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime. 
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
