Night Donut Mixing Production Associate

Reports to: Night Supervisor and Central Bakery Manager

Job Profile: Clerk 2, Production-Central Bakery

Business Title: Bakery Production-Central Bakery

Position Summary:

Must be able to operate all machinery. This position is responsible for the production of donuts, including mixing cake donut and yeast donut mixes, sheeting the dough, cutting, and proofing the donuts. Quality control. Follow safe, sanitary food handling policy to prevent contamination and food borne illnesses. Read and understands mix formulas, and able to use digital and balance scales. Must be able to write and follow a donut production guide. Responsible for checking weight and size of raw donuts. Be able to work independently and with others.

Starting Wage:

$18.00

Schedule:

Start Time: 4pm-12:30am

Flexible schedule with holidays and weekends required

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Experience:

No experience required.

Qualifications:

Basic math and reading skills, ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with deadlines, since this is a production line it is easy to fall behind and hard to catch up. Lifting, pushing, pulling heavy bowls and cabinets with dough. Strong shoulder and back necessary.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. Requires constant bending, stretching, and good eye/hand coordination.

Other Duties:

Cleaning of entire work areas, bending, scraping, pushing and pulling are required to wash equipment. Repetitive arm motion required for scraping and wiping lines and tables. Varies according to production needs. Occasionally may be required to help in donut frying, finishing or in other production areas.

Environmental Conditions:

Exposed to constant indoor temperatures of 75 degrees or higher. Noise: loud machines. Chemicals: cleaning solutions.
