ASAP Automotive & Transmission is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join its family-owned shop in Bear, DE.

Since 1988, the shop has focused on honest service, quality repairs, and long-term customer relationships. You'll handle a variety of general automotive repairs while using equipment including Hunter Alignment, Snap-on Solus and Verus scan tools, and AutoLeap Digital Vehicle Inspections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform steering, suspension, brake, maintenance, and general automotive repairs
  • Diagnose common drivability and light-to-moderate electrical concerns
  • Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using AutoLeap
  • Complete quality repairs efficiently while maintaining productivity
  • Communicate inspection findings and repair recommendations
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical skills with the ability to complete repairs independently
  • Experience with steering, suspension, brakes, maintenance, and general automotive repair
  • Basic to intermediate automotive electrical diagnostic ability
  • Ability to consistently produce quality work while maintaining productivity
  • ASE Certifications are a plus
  • Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) experience preferred
