Job description

MISSION
Ensure optimum use of standardized solutions in all product development processes for all business unit clients.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of automotive systems,
    particularly focusing on rear-view systems for original equipment manufacturers.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop automotive
    components and systems ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory
    standards.
    • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of automotive systems to ensure
    performance, reliability, and durability. Implement quality control measures and
    participate in root cause analysis to address any issues in product performance or
    manufacturing processes.
    • Create engineering specifications or cost estimates for automotive design ideas.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Academic background:U.S. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or
Industrial Engineering.Experience:Two (2) years' experience designing or defining mechanical
drawings and tooling, equipment and machinery build
requirements and processes; assuring transmission plant
installation of tooling, equipment, and machinery; and
prototype part authentication.
