Weekend Assistant Manager

Schedule: Weekends required (Friday–Sunday), including holidays as needed

Position Summary

The Weekend Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting daily store operations during high-traffic weekend business hours. This role assists with customer service, employee supervision, merchandising, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing daily store operations during weekend shifts
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
  • Supervise and support sales associates to ensure productivity and teamwork
  • Open and/or close the store following company procedures
  • Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking merchandise
  • Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention standards
  • Help train and motivate team members to meet sales and service goals
  • Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and communication between staff and management
Qualifications
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience is a plus
