Job description

Position Summary:

The Assembly Associate is responsible for the assembly and testing of engines, sub-assemblies and kits using documented procedures and policies at our manufacturing facility in Waukesha.

Typical Duties/Essential Job Functions:

  • Learns and follows plant safety requirements
  • Assembles product according to engineering assembly instructions and drawings to meet Quality requirements
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Perform all assembly-related functions as required with hand and/or power tools
  • Works in a manner that meets plant delivery and productivity goals
  • Ability to operate overhead crane
  • Clean and Paint parts as required using Wash Tank and Paint Booth equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Ability to work independently and recognize opportunities to contribute
  • Complete inventory and job transactions in Company MRP System
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Actively challenge existing processes to drive simplification and improvement
  • Support the organization by performing cross-functional ad hoc assignments as requested

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Physically able to lift and handle 35 lbs.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge
  • Good verbal and written skills to communicate with Leadership
  • 2 Years of Mechanical Assembly
