Job description

Compensation Range:
$ 21.41 plus 15% shift differential
Job Title: 3rd Shift Associate Production/Assembly Worker
Location: Daleville, VA

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble Sycool units and non-foam panel door and jamb assemblies in accordance with defined assembly processes.
  • Final assembly of foam panel doors (i.e. install door handles and hinges).
  • Perform material handling procedures in a safe and effective manner.
  • Inventory control as it relates to the position (responsible for ensuring Kanban levels are maintained).
  • Adhere to Munters Quality System, maintain & submit Quality Assurance In-Process Check Sheets.
  • Observe and enforce all safety rules.

Other Duties:
  • Perform or assist with any operations throughout the factory, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.
  • Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to assist with training new employees, integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Tools and Equipment:
  • Use hand and hand power tools, assembly fixtures, crane devices such as vacuum lifters, cranes and forklifts.
  • Assembling sheet metal parts and components using various hand and power tools
  • Installing electrical, gas, and air conditioning equipment
  • Testing of equipment
  • Loading of finished product on trucks
  • Assisting in on-the-job training of newer employees
  • Completing quality assurance inspection and in-process paperwork

Education:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED

Skill Requirements:
  • Mechanical and electrical blueprint reading, use of measuring devices, excellent mechanical aptitude, use of hand and power tools.

Training Requirements:
  • Munters Corp. Orientation, Quality Assurance and Safety Awareness, Assembly II Mechanics
  • Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet

Shift:
  • Sunday 7:00PM to 5:30:00AM Monday
  • Monday 7:00PM to 5:30AM Tuesday
  • Tuesday 7:00PM to 5:30AM Wednesday
  • Wednesday 7:00PM to 5:30AM Thursday.
  • Overtime would be on that Thursday night into Friday morning on an as need basis and then again Friday Night into Saturday morning if we had to work an equivalent of a Friday / Saturday OT day for day shift.
