Apprentice (Full-Time)
Application Instructions

Since 1957, Penhall has been the premier provider of concrete services to the United States and Canada for a wide variety of industries. It all began with Leroy Penhall's realization of an opportunity during Anaheim, California's "Orange Grove Development Boom" of the 1950s. He purchased his first gas-powered diamond saw, which allowed him to carry out concrete work with accuracy and speed. Penhall has since grown to offer a comprehensive selection of concrete services, including scanning, cutting, sawing, breaking, and removal.

Position Description

The Penhall Company, has an immediate opening for Apprentice to join our team. Must have a minimum of one-year experience working within any construction industry job site environment. Penhall will train qualified applicants.

This position requires 90% travel across the state and to other states when needed. Must be willing and able to travel away from home regularly, evenings/overnights and weekends included.

Key Relationships:

Foreman, Superintendent, Drivers, Operators, other skilled laborers

Specific Role Responsibilities:

  • Must have stable prior work history
  • 2 years or more continuous employment with same employer
  • Must have verifiable previous employment
  • Pass a required pre-employment drug screen & random
  • Pass a pre-employment background record (7 years) & periodical checks
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving history
  • Ability to work days/nights/weekends or out of town if necessary
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Required to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have steel toe leather work boots
