Position Description: Carpenters read blueprints and use precise measurements to cut and assemble boards, timbers or plywood to the required sizes as they build wooden forms in the shape of a house, foundation, or a section of bridge.
They build forms for walls, slabs, columns, elevated decks, and site concrete. They are responsible for erecting/building scaffolding and ladders needed to assemble structures.
