JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Planning/Records Analyst

FLSA STAUS: EXEMPT

REPORT TO: Manager of Maintenance Planning and Aircraft Records

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Planning/Aircraft Records Analyst to

join our Tech Ops team. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating scheduled

maintenance visits while ensuring the accuracy and regulatory compliance of aircraft

maintenance records. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability,

and airworthiness of our fleet by managing maintenance timelines, supporting proactive

maintenance strategies, and maintaining precise documentation in accordance with FAA and

company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning:

  • Develop and manage scheduled maintenance plans for aircraft, engines, propellers, and
  • Coordinate maintenance events with supervisors, procurement, and flight operations to ensure
  • readiness of parts, tools, and resources for scheduled maintenance visits.
  • Plan and schedule inspections, repairs, and service bulletins to minimize downtime and
  • operational disruption.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors and maintenance providers for specialized maintenance
  • services and major checks.
  • Support Continuous Airworthiness Surveillance System (CASS) and quality assurance programs.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, improve scheduling efficiency and reduce costs.

Aircraft Records:

  • Maintain accurate and complete aircraft maintenance records in both digital and physical
  • formats.
  • Audit, review, and update maintenance documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Enter and update maintenance data in the records management system according to
  • established procedures.
  • Prepare and retrieve records for internal audits, FAA inspections, and aircraft sales or transfers.
  • Implement proper record retention, archiving, and disposal procedures per company policy.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and compliance teams to ensure records accurately
  • reflect operational activities and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in aviation maintenance planning or aircraft records management preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems and electronic records platforms.
  • Basic understanding of FAA regulations and aircraft documentation standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
