Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Katy
Katy, TX
Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates is in search of an ACNP to join our team and work along an Interventional Cardiologist in our practice. MKCA is a premier cardiology practice led by a skilled team of board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners. The practice has served Greater West Houston, Texas, and the surrounding rural communities for over 40 years. With offices in Cypress, Katy, Sealy, Fulshear, and three convenient sites in Houston, our Physicians and APPs care for adult and geriatric patients in a comfortable, friendly setting.
The practice offers electrocardiograms (EKGs), stress tests, ablations, ultrasounds, cardiac nuclear medicine, Holter and event monitors, and more. The heart specialists provide advanced technologies like cardiac PET-CT scans, the WATCHMAN FLX™ device, the Reveal LINQ™ insertable cardiac monitor, the VenaSeal™ procedure, and sclerotherapy procedures, including Varithena®. They also offer clinical trials for patients who qualify.
The full time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner will work under the general supervision of the primary supervising physician, and all physician partners to deliver competent medical care to an age specific population including adults and geriatric patients. ACNP will work independently and collaborate with the Memorial Katy Interventionalist as well as assess, manage and treat complex cardiovascular conditions in high acuity units.
Experience Requirements:
  • Cardiology experience is preferred as an ACNP or new graduates with RN cardiology background.
  • ACNP Board Certification or Eligible.
  • Outpatient clinic setting and hospital rounding experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred to accommodate patient population.

Hours of Work:
  • Monday - Friday with some weekend call.
