Job description

JOIN THE TEAM SHAPING AMARA
Amara is a new private golf and social club in Las Vegas, designed as a refined retreat for members, their families, and their guests. Every detail of the employee, member, and guest experience is being built with purpose, care, warmth, and restraint.
We are assembling a team of individuals who believe hospitality is more than service - it is the thoughtful creation of how people feel.
This is no ordinary club environment. This is an opportunity to help shape one of the most distinctive hospitality experiences in the country.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Amara looks for team members who:
  • Demonstrate warmth, professionalism, and discretion
  • Anticipate needs before they are voiced
  • Take ownership of the environment and experience
  • Communicate calmly and respectfully
  • Maintain exceptional standards of presentation and detail
  • Contribute positively to team culture and collaboration
  • Protect the tone, privacy, and integrity of the club environment

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Accounting Manager will bring the Amara experience to life by working closely with the CFO and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting and financial administration functions of the Club while ensuring accuracy, organization, and stewardship across all financial processes. Through the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll administration, financial recordkeeping, and internal controls, you help ensure the Club operates with professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail that define the Amara experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll administration, financial operations, hospitality accounting, or a related accounting support role.
  • Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, reconciliations, month-end activities, and financial recordkeeping with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, payroll platforms, Microsoft Office or Google Suite applications, and business management systems; experience with TriNet Payroll and other HRIS systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, financial documentation, and administrative processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to build productive working relationships with employees, members, vendors, and business partners while providing exceptional service and responsiveness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-touch hospitality environments.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied schedules as needed.

BENEFITS OF BEING AMARA
At Amara, we curate belonging before we ask for performance and then we develop performance worthy of the setting, the team, and the members we serve. We've designed our team member experience with the same care and intentionality that our members will receive.
Joining us comes with meaningful onboarding, training, leadership support, and our commitment to an environment where people feel welcomed, prepared, respected, and proud to contribute.
You'll also gain access to other team member benefits like medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and so much more!
