Position Overview

The Listening Guide Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a remote capacity. Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to deliver high-quality therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, primarily focusing on those who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with no weekend shifts required, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the needs of clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical notes and documentation to track client progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans that enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to effectively engage with clients, ensuring accessibility and convenience.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to remain up-to-date on best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Listening Guide Therapy serves a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. As a therapist, you will work with clients from different socioeconomic backgrounds, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your ability to foster trust and demonstrate empathy will be key to creating a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• A valid California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• A Master’s degree in a mental health-related field.
• Experience and comfort with various telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role is required. Experience in community health settings, as well as familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating anxiety, depression, and trauma, will be highly valued. Additionally, any experience with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The Listening Guide Therapy offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 115,000 to 120,000 per year.
