Cath Lab RN – Traveler | Day Shift | 5x8s

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of Cath Lab RN experience
  • Traveler experience not required
  • Local candidates accepted
  • Active BLS and ACLS required

Required Experience

  • Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Cardiac stent placement
  • Diagnostic and interventional catheterizations
  • Left and right heart catheterization
  • PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
  • Adult IABP placement/removal
  • Swan-Ganz/Pulmonary Artery Line monitoring

Required Skills

  • 12 Lead EKG
  • ACT monitoring
  • Cardioversion
  • Procedural sedation administration/monitoring
  • Sheath removal and monitoring
  • Dysrhythmia recognition and management
  • Circulating procedures
  • Infection prevention and isolation precautions

Schedule

  • Shift: Days, 5x8s
  • Hours: 06:45 AM – 3:15 PM
  • Monday–Friday
  • Occasional late days (typically 4–5 per month, rarely past 5 PM)

Call

  • 1 weekday call shift per week
  • Every 5th weekend call rotation

Float

  • Required as needed
