Job description

Position Overview: Meats by Linz is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our team in the meat purveyor industry. This role owns day-to-day end-user IT support, device lifecycle, and Microsoft 365 administration across our multi-site manufacturing environment, serving as the first point of contact for Tier 1/2 issues. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, sharp troubleshooting skills, and is reliable and collaborative. A great fit for someone looking to grow their skills and build a long-term career with a growing company.Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, and support end-user devices: laptops, desktops, printers, RF scanners, tablets, and related hardware
  • Own Tier 1/2 troubleshooting for end-user devices, OS, applications, connectivity, and network-related issues; proactively identify and take initiative on recurring issues rather than waiting for escalation
  • Perform user onboarding/offboarding: M365 account setup, Active Directory/domain access, device provisioning, Group Policy
  • Administer Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, licensing, MFA
  • Support ERP-adjacent IT needs: network label printer connectivity, SMTP/email configuration, shared drive access, device compatibility, and user access
  • Assist with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization tasks in coordination with internal IT standards
  • Serve as the internal escalation point to the MSP for Tier 3 hardware, server, and network issues, and company-wide infrastructure projects
  • Understand and apply modern IT best practices (MFA, access controls, patching hygiene, endpoint hardening) not a dedicated security function, but a baseline expectation
  • Coordinate and schedule with third-party vendors for physical security systems (door access, cameras, surveillance) no hands-on configuration required
  • Maintain accurate documentation for IT procedures, configurations, and standards Job
Local Candidates Only:This position is not eligible for relocation. Applicants must currently reside in the local area and be able to reliably commute to the work location. Only candidates who live within the local market will be considered.Ideal Candidate
  • 3-5 years in an IT support or systems administration role
  • Hands-on experience with networked printers, RF/scanning hardware, and LAN troubleshooting
  • Solid understanding of MFA and endpoint security fundamentals
  • Ownership mentality — resolves issues rather than just logging tickets
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with shifting daily priorities
