Job description

Location: Orchard Place Residential Campus - Des Moines, Iowa
Position: Full-Time
At Orchard Place, we're more than just a mental and behavioral health provider - we're a sanctuary for healing, hope, and growth. We're looking for compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dedicated team and support children and adolescents on their journey toward wellness.
Schedule works weekday, daytime hours.
Pay:
  • LPN - $28.00 base, commensurate with experience
  • ASN - $38.00 base, commensurate with experience
  • BSN - $40.00 base, commensurate with experience
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide direct care and nursing assessments to youth in our residential program.
  • Collaborate with families, providers, and a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
  • Administer medications, manage health records, and support trauma-informed care.
  • Promote a safe, healing environment focused on reducing restraints and enhancing well-being.
  • Step in with calm and confidence during emergencies.

What We're Looking For:
  • Active Iowa RN or LPN license with pediatric or psychiatric experience preferred.
  • A heart for children and a passion for trauma-informed care.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort with EHR and medication administration.
  • Willingness to be on-call and participate in a rotating holiday schedule.

Criminal, Abuse Registry and Motor Vehicle Record checks required.
