Per Diem CRNA Opportunity

Description Per Diem CRNA opportunity in Raleigh, NC at Rex Hospital. Rex is a private, not-for-profit hospital affiliated with the UNC Health Care System. The hospital consists of 660 beds including a heart center, family birth center, cancer center, convalescent care center, adult care center, and wellness center. The main campus has approximately 40 anesthetizing sites including 24 main operating rooms, 6 procedure rooms, 3 OB suites, 6 procedure rooms and a variety of out of department locations (EP, TAVRs, Hybrid MRI). The Anesthesia Department is composed of approximately 30 anesthesiologists, 70 CRNAs and has an affiliation with the Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia. We practice team anesthesia in a collegial atmosphere that allows us to effectively manage our large and diverse patient population. Our anesthesiologists and CRNAs work in an anesthesia care team approach, meaning that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Case Assignments• Cardiac, pediatrics, OBGYN, general, plastics, urology, and vascular

Key Responsibilities• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
